Subject: Footage - FNQ
Hello Tony
What a relief ... to have finally found someone who has quality footage of FNQ. The footage I'm chasing is to replace some of the very old stuff shot by Tourism Qld which we obtained on SP Betacam from Double Up Productions. Unfortunately, this footage does not stand up on the large plasma & LCD screens, particularly when compared to freshly shot Digi Betacam. The footage will be used in the Sea Temple DVD which is promoting an exclusive North Qld lifestyle to wealthy people.
Tony, I really appreciate your help on this.
Thanks and Regards
Tony

Hi Tony
I hope you're well, my apologies for taking so long to get back to you! We're just finalizing the rough cut to send to National Geographic and it's looking great. Your shots all worked really well and captured the intensity of the shark tank preparation and tight timescale they were working too. Technically all great too and I loved the plane taxi'ing and take off shots.
Thanks for all your help with everything, backing up the tapes, radio mic cable etc.
Cheers, Gwyn

Hi Tony
I recently edited a video using the footage you shot at Alcan
Gove in North Australia and would like to say that it was nothing short of
fabulous. I particularly enjoyed the helicopter footage of the coastline.
All the interviews were well framed and nicely lit. The video appeared
crisp and vibrant helping showcase what the speakers had to say. As an
editor I really appreciate you taking the time to do such a good job during
production, it makes my job a lot easier.
Thanks very much.

Channel 9 came in second with 859,200 viewers, so our win was quite substantial!
